Solo un 5 % de las llamas han sido contenidas, según el Departamento de Bomberos de Nueva Jersey.
Un incendio forestal en el estado de Nueva Jersey (EE.UU.) se ha extendido a cerca de 1.294 hectáreas de la zona densamente boscosa de Pine Barrens la noche del martes, provocando el cierre de una de las autopistas estatales más transitadas y la evacuación de 3.000 personas, recoge The New York Times.

Según información del Departamento de Bomberos, citada por el medio, han contenido el incendio en un 5 %, y aún no se han reportado heridos. Las llamas representan una amenaza para al menos 1.320 estructuras, por lo que se evacuó a todos los residentes de los municipios de Ocean y Lacey, 3.000.
